Prerna Arora to do a web series now

Producer Prernaa Arora, who has had her share of controversies earlier with two films slipping out of her hand following disputes with her director Abhishek Kapoor and actor-producer John Abraham has one of the films Kedarnath releasing today.

With her film Radha Kyun Gori Main Kyun Kaala mounting the floorboards soon in Mathura, Prernaa is collaborating with director Deepak Tijori on a web series.

Titled Dirty, Sexy Mumbai, the web series will cock a snook not just at Bollywood and the TV world, but will also tickle the dark underbelly of Mumbai.

“As a producer I’ve always strongly believed in the power of content and this web series too reflects that. A small idea or concept can lead to being big and successful while even a big- ticket project can do poorly if the content isn’t strong enough. Dirty, Sexy Mumbai is a thrilling story of three women who are actresses in the film and television and theatre industry. Deepak sir met us to discuss the web series because he knew we would understand that even content with grey shades may have immense potential. This has definitely not been explored before and I'm sure it will interest audiences,” says the producer.
