Mumbai: The Indian Premier League, popularly known as IPL, is here and it began with a bang as Bollywood celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Hrithik Roshan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mika Singh performed on it.

It began with a face-off between Varun Dhawan and Prabhudheva (also hinting at their next, which also stars Katrina Kaif and will most probably have the ‘ABCD’ cast, but not the title).

That was followed by Jacqueline’s performance on ‘Ek Do Teen’, which she can also be seen grooving to in ‘Baaghi 2’. She also performed on ‘Oonchi Hai Building’.

Mika Singh entered the floor with the superhit song ‘Damadum Mast Kalandar’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Aaj Ki Party’. Interestingly, a few minutes before the IPL began, Salman was granted bail.

Tamannaah Bhatia came on stage and performed on one of her songs from the blockbuster hit movie ‘Baahubali’. She replaced Parineeti Chopra, who opted out at the last minute.

While the ceremony would have come to a grand end by Ranveer Singh, but the actor got injured and replaced by Hrithik Roshan, who, his fans believe, took the opening ceremony to many notches higher.

The actor became the most spoken about post his performance and his fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Here are some glimpses from his performance:

And here’s the reaction of his fans who feel that nobody can dance like Hrithik, and we agree to a certain extent:
