Dilip Kumar diagnosed with pneumonia

Actor Dilip Kumar, who was admitted to Lilavati Hospital with complaints of uneasiness earlier this week, has been diagnosed with mild pneumonia.

Udaya Tara Nayar, compiler of the actor’s autobiography, reveals that’s he’s currently in the ICU.

“He is responding to medication, but since he has been diagnosed with pneumonia, he is in the ICU, under observation,” says Nayar.

Ninety-five-year-old Kumar was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, and doctors detected a chest infection that was later diagnosed as pneumonia. He’s expected to be discharged sometime next week.
