Rap star Badshah to judge a reality show
Recently, the rapper was in the news for suffering a bout of depression.
Badshah is all set to don the judge’s hat for a forthcoming reality show Dil Hai Hindustani, along with Karan Johar, Shekhar Ravjiani and Shalmali Kholgade. Did the daunting responsibility make him nervous, we ask. “Not at all! My job is to explore their talent. I thought I should give it a try anyway,” Badshah says.
Recently, the rapper was in the news for suffering a bout of depression. Opening up on the issue he shares, “I think everybody gets depressed. My depression had nothing to do with my success.” He continues, “When you become successful, you want to do a lot of things and often you don’t get enough time with people you love the most in your life. My parents live in Chandigarh. Every time I go back home, I see them getting older, which is tough for me. It saddens me. I was even thinking of leaving everything to just be with them. But they put all my worries to rest when they said I should continue working and they’ll be fine,” he signs off.
