Emraan's Spanish remake on schedule
The film, which is scheduled to release in 2019, is on track and has completed its 45-day Mauritian leg sans any problems.
Bollywood’s serial kisser, Emraan Hashmi has not had some great releases off late. His two releases in 2016 — Raaz Reboot and Azhar — did not do as expected, and in 2017, he did manage a semi hit in the form of Baadshaho, but that had Ajay Devgn and a host of other stars.
Now, the actor will soon be seen in Jeetu Joseph’s Body. Jeetu had previously directed the 2013 hit Drishyam. The film Body is a remake of a Spanish film, El Cuerpo that deals with the story of a detective who is investigating the case of a woman’s body missing from a morgue.
The film, which is scheduled to release in 2019, is on track and has completed its 45-day Mauritian leg sans any problems. It will now move into its post-production phase.
The makers, Azure Entertainment, are now looking for a good date to release the film. Besides Emraan, the film also stars Rishi Kapoor, Vedhika and Sobhita Dhulipala.
