Mathematician Anand Kumar’s biopic Super 30, which opens across the world on Friday, has been seen and approved by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

The CBFC not only awarded the film a ‘U’ certificate (suitable for all ages), the board members also commended the film for highlighting the life of a man and mathematician who has devoted himself to bringing out the talent and intellect of underprivileged students.

“Anand Kumar understands the pain, hurt, humiliation and struggle of the underprivileged student. This film brings out his sincere attempts to support bright but economically challenged students,” a source from the CBFC informs.

Roshan Singh, a leading exhibitor of Bihar, thinks it’s a win-win situation for Super 30.  “The film will get a big opening all over the country. Anand is from Bihar, but his struggle and achievements are for the entire country to see and appreciate. Also, this is Hrithik Roshan’s first attempt to play a living character. There is curiosity to see what he has done,” he says.
