After rejecting 3 movies with Ranveer Singh, what made Kareena agree for Takht?
Titled 'Takht', the war film will be Karan Johar's directorial and Kareena was the first actress to be announced.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is synonymous with sass. The actress wouldn’t just pick up a role no matter even if it goes on to become a blockbuster.
But she seems to have become a bit more flexible now as the actress could be seen have a great time with Kartik Aaryan recently, and in the latest news, she has even agreed to work in a movie also starring Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
Titled ‘Takht’, the war film will be Karan Johar’s directorial and Kareena was the first actress to be announced, thus making all excited for KJo and Bebo’s reunion since Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
For the uninitiated, Kareena and Karan are BFFs and they even have a separate whatsapp group to embarrass one another. Yes that’s how close they are!
But somehow, even though Ranveer is a big fan of Bebo (just like Alia), he was rejected not once or twice but thrice by Saif Ali Khan’s choti Begum.
Kareena said no to his two blockbusters Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Zoya Akhtar directorial Dil Dhadakne Do.
It is now a wonder (or not) about why Kareena finally agreed to be paired up not only with Ranveer and Alia in the same film but also with so many more actors including veteran Anil Kapoor and debutante Janhvi Kapoor.
The reason seems to be the same – Karan Johar, who has even managed to bring Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit-Nene in his Dharma film ‘Kalank’.
