Vikas Bahl out of Super 30
If reliable sources are to be believed, scrapping the film produced by the recently-dissolved Phantom Films, is not an option.
Vikas Bahl, who’s helming the prestigious Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30, is in big trouble. In light of the recent allegations of sexual harassment levelled against him, he may not only be kicked out the project, but his name may also be dropped from the film’s credits.
If reliable sources are to be believed, scrapping the film produced by the recently-dissolved Phantom Films, is not an option.
“There is too much stake at stake, too many careers, including Hrithik Roshan’s, depend on this film. Super 30 is not just about Vikas Bahl. A dream can’t be demolished just because one of its components has gone bad. That bad part just has to be amputated. Phantom and Reliance Entertainment are joint-producers, so Phantom alone cannot take a call. But yes, they are going to delete Vikas’ name from the credits of Super 30.”
Super 30 is a film based on the life of Bihari mathematician Anand Kumar. Vikas Bahl was signed to direct it after the original director, Anurag Basu, dropped out.
