Earlier, the poster of the movie gave a closer look at Akshay's menacing avatar.
Akshay was seen giving intense expressions that would definitely make the fans even more excited.
'2.0', which brings Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Shankar together for the first time, is a sequel of 2010 film 'Enthiran' (released in Hindi as 'Robot').
Directed by S. Shankar, the movie will witness a showdown between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Amy Jackson, who plays a droid.
However, as much as the news is good for fans of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, it is bad news for the team of ‘Kedarnath.’
The Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer is also slated to release for 29 November.
With 2.0’ being a sequel having two big superstars and being touted to be the most expensive film in Indian cinema history, there’s no doubt which movie would be the first choice for cinemagoers.
‘Kedarnath’ team will surely be worried and it’d be interesting to see if they switch back to their earlier release date of 21 December, which has another biggie, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’, or be confident about finding their target number of screens.
