I need royalty, says Anil Kapoor to Anupam Kher
When news of Anupam playing an important role in American television series Bellevue broke out, Anil had a say in it.
Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher are very old friends, and have even collaborated on many a project in Bollywood. The two have, however, had their shares of ups and downs, when it comes to their friendship.
Anil and Anupam, despite having produced a film together too, had a minor tiff when Anupam acted in Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Maara, and Anil was making Gandhi-My Father. The duo, however, now get along really well.
And now, when news of Anupam playing an important role in American television series Bellevue broke out, Anil had a say in it. The 24 actor realised Anupam plays a character called Dr Anil Kapoor, and ribbed him on it.
He tweeted to Anupam, “Want royalty for using my name @AnupamPKher or wait for a Legal notice. (sic)”
Even Anil’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor took a dig at their friendship and wrote, “You guys are taking your love for each other to another level your playing a character that shares the same name!”
