Sunny Deol's Bhaiyyaji Superhitt to clash with Salman's Tubelight
We've had a history of events where friendship took a backseat when their films have clashed.
Mumbai: Salman Khan films are far above from the fear of being clashed with any other film.
His films have done record-shattering business at the Box office during Eid.
The actor has a humongous fan following and Eid is a festival where Salman Khan films usually dominate the screens. Even the other superstars of Bollywood try and avoid their films being clashed with bhaijaan’s films.
However, old friend Sunny Deol has taken the risk of releasing his film ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhitt’ with Salman’s ‘Tubelight’.
A source says, “Despite all the distributors warning the makers of ‘Bhaiyyaji Superhitt’ not to release it, as getting screens would be difficult. But, they are confident about the content and hence they are clashing!”
Producer of Sunny’s film, Mahindra Dhariwal quoted a daily, “In the past, we have had many instances when two hit screens and both did well. Besides, we are presenting Sunny in a new avatar. He has a double role in the film and I am sure his fans will love him.”
According to the daily, Sunny Deol told his producer, “You are the producer and know best for the film. If you are fine with it, I am too.”
The producer further added, “I am aware they [Salman and Sunny] are good friends, but this clash won't affect their friendship."
