Sridevi and Shekhar Kapur exchange praises as they remember Mr India
The director took to Twitter where he recalled shooting for the songs 'Hawa Hawai' and 'Kaate Nahi Kat Te' from the 1987 blockbuster.
Mumbai: Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has praised his 'Mr India' actor Sridevi for her impeccable understanding of both comic and sensual aspects of the craft.
The 71-year-old director took to Twitter where he recalled shooting for the songs 'Hawa Hawai' and 'Kaate Nahi Kat Te' from the 1987 blockbuster.
"Filming 'Mr India' songs and the Charlie Chaplin sequence with Sridevi were one of the most joyful moments of my directing experience. Her intuitive sense of the comic and the sensual are amazing," Kapur wrote alongside an article.

Sridevi responded by returning the praise to the acclaimed director.

Kapur added he couldn't forget the experience of the film due to the veteran actress' brilliance.

Also starring Anil Kapoor and Amrish Puri, the movie was produced by Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor.
