Hansal gets Rajkummar, Patralekha together again
Shailesh and Hansal are currently fighting a court case of non-repayment of dues for the film Simran, which tanked badly at the box office.
Hansal Mehta does not seem to get bogged down by failure or controversies. Even though his film Omerta managed to garner worldwide appreciation, the film did not exactly set the box office on fire, for it managed to collect just around Rs 3.32 crore in its first week. And, yet again, Hansal has collaborated once again with Rajkummar Rao for an upcoming film.
Hansal who has worked with Rao in films like Shahid, Citylights and Aligarh, is now starting another film called Swagat Hai. For this film the director has got Rao’s girlfriend Patralekha to star opposite him again. The two were paired earlier in Hansal’s Citylights for Mukesh Bhatt.
“Shailesh Singh who produced Simran with Hansal Mehta earlier, is said to be collaborating with ex-T-Series bigwig, Ajay Kapoor, and is bankrolling the film,” says a source.
