Remixes are the new trend in Bollywood, and composer-singer Tanishk Bagchi has done quite a good job with the remixes by far. However the latest song that Tanishk will be working on is the remix of Tip Tip Barsa Paani, but the original singer of the song Alka Yagnik expressed disappointment over remixes.

Tanishk says in response, “Alka ji will be proud of me because I have done something different in recreating Tip Tip Barsa Pani; I have got all the old stars back in it. Look at my song Aankh Maare, I got Kumar Sanu for the song and then he started doing more shows after that. I got my Mika Singh.”

“Actually, I am helping everybody by doing remixes. It is also like a cause for me because I think artists who are not doing much and are very talented should come up. So that’s a good thing,” he adds.

Tanishk has done remixes like Mere Rashke Kamar, Humma Humma, Tamma Tamma, Tu Cheez Badi, Raat Baaki, Dilbar, Aankh Maare, Wakhra Swag etc.

Talking about remixes he says, “I have been in this line for 20 years; I don’t do remixes with any intention because for me music is my life and recreation is a genre by itself. I am glad people are liking them. Plus I am doing a lot of original songs as well. It is not that people don’t like my originals and only like my recreation.”

Meanwhile, he is back with Yeh Sindoor in Mission Mangal, a powerful poem summarizes the story of these five extraordinary women scientists. “Mission Mangal’s Yeh Sindoor song gives me a patriotic feel. I have learnt music from my mom and Mission Mangal is lead by women, so I feel extremely special composing this song.”
