Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, who has worked with Saif Ali Khan on films like Ek Hasina Thi and Agent Vinod, says he’s happy to see how much the actor has evolved over the years.

“Saif has always been a fantastic actor. As long as he is not trying to be a typical hero, he is always great. And he is now getting to do different roles with stuff like Sacred Games. I’ve watched the trailer of Baazaar and he’s looking good in it. I also have an idea that I want to work with him on,” Sriram says.

Meanwhile, the director’s recently-released Andhadhun is doing rather well at the box office. And though he’s barely ever criticised for his work, Sriram says that he’s open to constructive criticism.

“Sometimes, people pass meaningless criticism that doesn’t make any sense at all. As long as the criticism is constructive, I am open to it. Even if it is the best film in the world, some people will still hate it,” he says.

He’s also looking to enter the south Indian film market soon. “I have a lot of friends in the south and they’ve been asking me to make a Tamil film. Tamil is my mother tongue, so I hope it will be easy for me. Let’s see what happens,” Sriram says.
