Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' was a blockbuster at the box office.

Mumbai: After 'Sarfarosh', 'Mangal Pandey - The Rising' and 'Rang De Basanti', there were reports that Aamir Khan would be seen in another patriotic film, a biopic on Rakesh Sharma, the first Indian to venture into space.

However, at the media interaction Aamir Khan held on the occasion of his birthday on Tuesday, the superstar has denied that he is doing the film. When asked about the biopic on Rakesh Sharma, Aamir said, “The only film that I am working on is Thugs. That’s the only thing I am working on. I haven’t signed anything else.”

Incidentally, Rakesh Sharma himself had confirmed that Aamir will be playing his role. Aamir is known to do one film at a time and perhaps the superstar might do the film after the completion of ‘Thugs of Hindostan.’

About collaborating with Amitabh Bachchan on ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Aamir said, "I have yet to learn so much from Amitji. I am excited to be working with him. It will really be a great learning experience — I know that for sure. Mujhe aisa lagta hai ki unse bahut kuch seekhne ko milega mujhe (I feel I will get to learn a lot from him).”

While ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is set for release during Diwali 2018, Aamir will be seen in a cameo in his own production ‘Secret Superstar’ this year.
