Sanjay Dutt's biopic to feature real moments
The untitled biopic will be the first such film made on the life of a Bollywood star. The film is set to have a Christmas release.
Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic has been in the making since January this year. Only last week, pictures of Ranbir’s look (where he looks like Sanjay) in the film made their way to the Internet, creating a buzz around the biopic. We now hear that the filmmaker will include scenes from the actor’s real life too. Hirani had last year, captured Dutt’s exit from Yerwada Jail in Pune, with the thought of including it in the biopic.
A close source reveals, “Apart from the jail sequences, there are other scenes too. Also, Sanjay Dutt will do a part of the voice over for the film.”
Adds the source, “Sanjay initially wanted to play the role of his father Sunil Dutt but the makers weren’t too keen on the idea and hence Paresh Rawal was roped in for the part.”
