It's play time for Sharman Joshi
Sharman has been going slow on the film front. His last film was Wajah Tum Ho (2016).
Sharman Joshi is known for his comic timing and pulls off his roles with ease. The actor’s spontaneity stems primarily from his theatre background. Hence, he has gone back to his roots and has also turned producer with a play titled The Play That Goes Wron’.
“I have bought the rights to the play. It has a bunch of newcomers. I saw it and decided to buy the rights. It’s a murder mystery and will run in four languages Hindi, English, Gujarati, and Marathi. I am only producing and not acting in it,” Sharman said.
Sharman has been going slow on the film front. His last film was Wajah Tum Ho (2016). The actor who finds theatre very satisfying, and claims his last film has helped him in many ways. He says, “It’s an absolute delight to do plays. I was doing theatre for over 10 years after which the journey of films began. I was missing the stage as it satisfies me as an actor. Theatre has no retakes. It’s a great experience.”
