Mumbai: Helen, the Cabaret Queen of the 1960s and 70s, remains unmatched in the grace and sophistication she brought on screen.

Not many know that she was a refugee from Burma, who grew up in Mumbai in miserable conditions and began dancing to support her family.

The Cabaret Queen's journey from a dancing diva to Mrs. Salim Khan is worthy of a feature film, and that’s exactly what the Khan family intends to do.

It's been said that a biopic on the yesteryear actress Helen is being planned.

Sources close to the Khan family say that the Helen biopic would be produced by Salman Khan and scripted by Salim Khan.

On a comedy show, when Helen was asked whom did she think could essay her on-screen, she immediately said, “Padukone!”

The legendary actress-dancing queen thinks that the sexy diva Deepika Padukone is the perfect choice to essay her life on 70mm.

Considering that Salman Khan and Deepika have not yet shared screen space, let’s wait to see if they associate together with this project, wherein he’ll be the producer.

Well, let us tell you that Deepika was initially to debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan’s ‘Lucky,’ but that didn’t work out and the actress made her debut opposite Salman’s contemporary Shah Rukh Khan.

Let’s wait for Helen’s biopic!
