Shraddha Kapoor, will be seen sharing screen space with her brother Siddhanth Kapoor, for the first time in the upcoming drama film on Haseena Parkar. The role is proving to be quite a demanding one for the actress.
Siddhanth explains that it’s probably because the film is close to their hearts. He explains, “We broke down when we shot a few intense scenes. There were a lot of scenes where Shraddha had tears in her eyes. I guess that’s because it is a special film for both of us.”
Shraddha plays Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar in Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. Her brother Siddhanth will be seen portraying Dawood’s role. Siddhant is stumped over Shraddha’s performance in the film. He says, “I was the first one to be cast in the film. Previously, Sonakshi Sinha was supposed to take up the role but there were a few date issues. That’s when I told Sir (Apoorva) to try Shraddha. She didn’t look the part at all but convinced us with her make-up and body language. I would say she has nailed it with her performance.” He adds that he can’t wait for the promos to hit the screens. “I saw a few rushes of the film and I have been impressed by it. I am waiting for the world to see the film now.”
