Bollywood-town's newest Bad Boy
Sanjay's three films after his release from jail Bhoomi, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Kalank all failed at the box office.
Sanjay Dutt, the much-wanted hero of the ’80s and the ’90s, is happily playing villain in many films and seems to be the first choice for the good-looking bad guy nowadays.
As the actor is essaying the role of Ahmed Shah Abdali in the Ashutosh Gowariker directed Panipat, the vile Adheera in KGF Chapter 2, and the antagonist in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera, he has also been pencilled in as the bad guy opposite Akshay Kumar in Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s film Prithviraj.
“Sanjay Dutt is extremely busy at work now. He has Prasthanam and Torbaaz awaiting release. Then there is Sadak 2, which has him in the lead and could change the dynamics of his career all over. He is also playing an important role in Bhuj: Pride of India. But somehow, these days he is enjoying playing the big bad guy,” says an industry source.
Sanjay’s three films after his release from jail — Bhoomi, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 and Kalank — all failed at the box office. But the next few months could see the emergence of Sanjay Dutt 3.0.
