Taapsee Pannu has always been vocal about her views on feminism and women-related issues. “I feel that women need to be treated equally, I do not wish to get anything extra. But merely because I am a woman, do not try to snatch away that equality from me. Try and judge me in accordance to my talent and bestow upon me chances accordingly,” she says.

The actress adds that even if she does get married, she has one condition: “I shall never compromise on one important thing — respect. I would also not like my life partner to compromise on respect. Love can come and go, but respect, once lost, can never be regained. Love will never die if its foundation stands upon respect,” she asserts.

Meanwhile, Taapsee also weighed in on Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli’s less-than-subtle attacks on social media. “I never like to increase my blood pressure just thinking about all that. If you really wish to hurt me, then you need to come close to my life and know more about my real self. If you sit and give me gaalis (cuss words), then I will not feel bad, I will just sit and laugh it off. I have this one life and have to do a lot. I would not like to boil my blood at all,” she concludes.
