In pics: Kalank goes on floors; the film had special visitor on sets
The special visitor on the sets of 'Kalank' has come the first time to support Varun Dhawan on the movie sets.
A day after it got announced, Abhishek Varman directorial and Karan Johar-Sajid Nadiadwala production went on floors.
The film has done the unimaginable – it got Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt back on screen after almost 25 years.
This movie also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
While Varun and Alia didn’t get clicked together, it was Sonakshi and Aditya who looked fresh as a flower early in the morning.

Varun too shared an Instagram story of him going to the sets in a completely different looks. He has gotten rid of the moustache which he kept for ‘Sui Dhaaga’.
Madhuri also went on to call the sets ‘breathtaking’ as she went there for her look test with Karan Johar.
Just finished my shoot with @AnilKapoor and #indrakumar on the sets of #TotalDhamaal and was phenomenal as usual. Now arrived at the sets of #Kalank with @karanjohar for the look test. The sets are breathtaking. Can’t wait for you to see both films!!

But what came as an actual surprise was Varun’s father David Dhawan’s entry on the sets. Varun considers Karan Johar as his dad too and when the two posed together with Nadiadwala, we can only think of the smile on the young actor’s face.
