Fashion and comfort can definitely go hand in hand. A great example of this being airport style. Celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner are known to travel in style.

Just this week, Deepika turned heads when she was spotted wearing a loose-fitted white top and a denim jacket at the airport. Not only did the actress look fabulous, but her outfit screamed comfort. That is exactly what one needs while travelling — outfits that are stylish yet comfortable. Putting together an airport outfit is easy if you keep these pointers in mind.

Alia Bhatt always try to keep it comfortable while she is travelling.

Camouflage, Kimono, bomber and denim jackets, athleisure wear, long sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants, tracks, and loose-fitted maxi dresses are great options, according to stylists and designers. Recently, Kangana upped her airport style game by wearing a white ruffled shirt and high-waist pants along with leather boots at the airport.

Another great option is to wear leggings and sneakers with a simple t-shirt. Celebrity stylist Ami Patel, who is known for styling Alia Bhatt, says, “Always go for comfort when you are travelling. Opt for different kinds of jackets that keep you warm. It is important to make sure that your legs are covered. Avoid wearing velvet pants — they are not in fashion anymore.”

Wearing fabrics that are breathable will keep you comfortable throughout your journey. “Avoid clothes that stick to your body and instead go for loose-fitted and breathable outfits,” says celebrity designer Nachiket Barve.

“Never wear linen as it gets crumpled quite easily. You will look disastrous while you leave the airport. Fabrics like cotton are a great option. Also, layering is good while travelling because you may feel cold at airports,” he adds.

Athleisure is an interesting option when you are travelling. Not only is it stylish, but also very smart. “Comfortable long t-shirts and jackets should be your go-to outfits. Don’t wear anything that’s tight and fitted. Bomber jackets and camouflage jackets are totally in vogue. When it comes to colour, black is a safe option. When it comes to footwear, you can go in for neon trainers,” says celebrity stylist Nandita Mahtani, adding, “The idea is to look fresh, well-groomed and comfortable at the same time.”
