Raid box office collection: Ajay Devgn starrer stays strong, inching towards 50 crore

After a strong weekend, Ajay Devgn's thriller drama 'Raid' is still gaining hold at the box office.

Mumbai: After a strong weekend, Ajay Devgn’s thriller drama 'Raid' is still gaining hold at the box office. The movie has already collected 47 crore and is inching towards 50 crore.

Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers on Twitter writing, “#Raid is SUPER-STRONG on Mon... An indicator that the film will sustain very well on weekdays... Current trending suggests ₹ 64 cr [+/-] Week 1, which is EXCELLENT for a non-masala film... Fri 10.04 cr, Sat 13.86 cr, Sun 17.11 cr, Mon 6.26 cr. Total: ₹ 47.27 cr. India biz.”

The movie collected approximately 10.04 crore net, thus doing a decent business on the opening day, and the movie even did well on Monday post the weekends by earning more than 6 crores. By the weekend, the total collections of 'Raid' were 41.01 crore.

‘Raid’ is working well in UP and Bihar and has become successful even though it still has some miles to cross in order to become a hit.

The film ‘Raid’ will face little competition from Rani Mukerji starrer ‘Hichki’ which is slated to release on 23rd March.
