As the actor heads abroad for treatment of neuroendocrine tumour, the makers have decided to move on.
Mumbai: The makers of Deepika Padukone-Irrfan Khan film based on an underworld story have decided to wait for the latter to gain full fitness as he revealed he suffers from neuroendocrine tumour and headed abroad for treatment.
On Monday, Vishal Bhardwaj took to Twitter and wrote, “Irrfan is a warrior and we know he will conquer this battle. Therefore Deepika Padukone, Prernaa, Kriarj and I have decided to reschedule our film and start with renewed energy and celebration when our warrior returns as a winner.”
When contacted Prernaa Arora, she said, "We will resume work as soon as they get well. In the meanwhile, Vishal and I have already begun work on our other films together.''
Meanwhile, it’d be interesting to see if Deepika, who is also recovering from a back injury, will be a part of their collaboration.
