Arshad Warsi may have been dropped from the second part of the Subhash Kapoor-directed Jolly LLB series, but then the actor has clawed his way back into the third part of the film.

“Subhash and Arshad share a very good rapport. That’s why the former’s name cropped up as the optional director for the third part in the Munnabhai series. Later, when Sanjay Dutt refused to agree to Subhash as a director of the third part, the makers Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani relented, and agreed to Sanju’s demands, because they were also working on his biopic,” says our source.

But now, the actor who plays Circuit in Munnabhai, will be back in the third part of Jolly LLB, along with Akshay Kumar, who was the hero of the sequel and had replaced Arshad in second installation of the film.

Well, the story goes thus: Arshad and Akshay both play Jolly LLB in the film and they will be pitted opposite each other as opposing lawyers. Who wins the case, however remains to be seen. “It was Arshad’s idea that they could have a clash of the Jollys. Arshad has desperately been needing a hit film for a long time and with the third part of Munnabhai also coming up, Subash thought it will be a good idea to experiment with this story. The script is being locked before it will be pitched to Akshay,” informs the source.
