Taapsee Pannu and Kriti Sanon to share screen space in Anurag Kashyap's Womaniya?
Both Kriti and Taapsee will reportedly play 60-year-olds in the film, the story of which will be told in flashback.
Mumbai: Bolywood actress Taapsee Pannu is gearing up for another strong role in a two-heroine project 'Womaniya'. Now, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror actress Kriti Sanon has been approached for the second lead role in the film.
'Pink' actress Taapsee is already filming an intense love story 'Manmarziyan' with Anurag Kashyap in Amritsar, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. On the other hand, this will be Kriti’s first collaboration with the production house.
Being bankrolled by Madhu Mantena, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl, the forthcoming film will introduce a new director and is inspired by the real-life stories of several women professional shooters.
Both Kriti and Taapsee will reportedly play 60-year-olds in the film, the story of which will be told in flashback. A source close to the development informed, “Kriti has heard the script and liked it. Both actresses will play 60-yearolds in certain portions of the film as the story is told in flashback. They will be required to train before the film rolls towards the middle of this year.”
Taapsee will be next seen in ‘Dil Juunglee’, which is coming out on 16th February. Apart from ‘Manmarziyan’, she has ‘Mulk’ which stars Rishi Kapoor, and a sports drama, ‘Soorma’ co-starring Diljit Dosanjh. On the other hand, Kriti is currently shooting for Dinesh Vijan's upcoming film Arjun Patiala. She will be seen with actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh for the first time in the movie.
