Jacqueline Fernandez paired opposite Kartik Aaryan?

The Tollywood hit film Kirrak Party is being remade in Hindi, and we hear two of the three lead actors have been finalised. Kartik Aaryan has been signed on to replace Sidharth Malhotra as the male lead, and Jacqueline Fernandez will reprise the role played by Simran Pareenja in the Telugu version. The makers are now on the lookout for a second lead actress.

“The makers were keen on casting Jacqueline and Sidharth Malhotra together, but their history —the failure of A Gentlemen — made them doubtful. But with Kartik replacing Sid, it has made it easy for them to bring Jacqueline on board,” a source reveals.

This will be the first time that Kartik stars in a two-heroine film. After some missteps and losing out on an important project, the actor seems to have reined in his PR team, and he’s not making any comment regarding this film yet.
