Just days after Akshay Kumar’s film Rustom’s release, the versatile actor announced his next project Crack, with the movie’s director Neeraj Pandey. This is the fourth time that the actor has joined hands with Neeraj after Special 26, Baby and Rustom. Crack was supposed to hit the theatres on Independence Day next year, but it looks like there is a slight change in plans for the film.

Buzz is that the film will go on the floors only by early 2018. A close source reveals,  “Director Neeraj Pandey has not yet started working on the script. He narrated an idea to Akshay, who loved it. Then, both of them decided to announce the film. Later, Neeraj got busy with his production films — Shivam Nair’s Naam Shabana and Shree Narayan Singh’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha. He cannot find the time to write Crack. He has decided to start writing in March 2017, after both the other films are over.”
