Priyanka's A Kid Like Jake goes to Sundance Film Festival, actress proud of it
The actress says the film breaks down the barriers of being socially correct, and encourages one to embrace qualities making them unique.
New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra, who has been busy shooting for her American crime thriller 'Quantico 3', was recently at the Sundance Film Festival, promoting her second Hollywood film 'A Kid Like Jake'.
The global icon opted for a casual look in the snow-clad area, donning cargo pants, white high-neck sweater and a jacket.
Speaking about the movie, she wrote, "So proud to be a part of #AKidLikeJake, a story that humanizes the struggle of parents trying to do right by their kid. This film breaks down the barriers of being socially correct, and encourages you to embraces the qualities that makes each one of us unique. So happy to bring my support to this already stellar cast. Alongside, she attached a picture of the team of 'A Kid Like Jake'.
She also shared several other pictures with the cast, which includes popular sitcom 'The Big Bang Theory' star Jim Parsons.
The Desi girl also gave glimpses from the event through her social media handle.
'A Kid Like Jake', directed by Silas Howard and written by Daniel Pearle, is based on his own 2013 play of the same name.
The film stars Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer, and Priyanka.
She also met popular international rapper Usher on the sidelines and posed for a picture.
