Pakistan’s singer-actor Ali Zafar, who has always been welcomed into the Indian entertainment industry, has shocked many  Indians by praising the Pakistan Prime Minister’s speech shrugging off all responsibility for the Pulwana terror carnage.

Clearly, Ali has shown us true gratitude for hospitality.

Ali, who was introduced to Bollywood by Yash Raj Films, now stands to lose all ties with the Indian film industry after clearly aligning himself with the Pakistan administration’s pro-terror rhetorics.

Ashoke Pandit, chief advisor of the Federation Of  Western India Cine Employees(FWICE), feels it is routine for Pakistani artistes to stab us in the back.

“Ali Zafar’s attitude should come as no surprise to us. He represents the Pakistani entertainment industry, which regularly gets its sustenance from our entertainment industry. But not one of them speaks up against the terror attacks on India funded by Pakistan.”

Ali Zafar, say sources, is no more welcome at

Yash Raj films where his brother was also to be launched.

A source close to Yash Raj says, “While Adi Chopra had nothing against Ali and maintained cordial relations with him throughout, Ali would now find it hard to access Adi, in case he so desires.”

Actor Sushant Singh, General Secretary of the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA), wonders why Pakistani artists were welcomed by some elements in Bollywood even though Pakistani artistes refuse to acknowledge the rampant and active terror outfits being nurtured on their soil.

“Terrorists brutally killed the children of Pakistani defence personnel in their school. It makes me cry until now. And yet they harbour these monsters. It’s disgusting,” says Sushant.
