Arjun Kapoor made his debut opposite Parineeti Chopra in the movie Ishaqzaade. Six years later, the two have been paired together once again in Namaste England, and Arjun can’t stop gushing about his co-star.

“As an actor, Parineeti brings out the best in me,” Arjun says, adding, “If you are honest with your co-actors, then your work is enhanced. I am not scared of Parineeti, and we have a bond. We have no insecurities as actors and that’s the reason I enjoy working with her.”

Directed and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Namaste England, is a young, vibrant movie that follows the journeys of two individuals — Jasmeet and Param. It is a sequel to the 2007 film Namaste London, which featured Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead.

“It’s a franchise that’s been loved for so many years. To be part of it, and to have Vipul take us through the journey is great. I remember I watched Namaste London with Katrina. Today, it feels surreal to have completed its sequel,” Arjun says.

The actor is also very excited for his half-sister Janhvi, who’s about to make an entry into Bollywood with the upcoming film Dhadak.

“I am very happy for her. I know how important for debutantes to have the right team behind them. Many new faces are launched every year, but the presentation of Dhadak feels good. Shashank (Khaitan) is a great director and Ishaan (Khatter) is superb. Based on the trailer, it looks like they have all worked very hard. I hope Jhanvi gets the same love that all the rest of our family members have got,” he says.
