Manisha Koirala leaves for Nepal to help in flood relief work
The 47-year-old actor took to Twitter to share that she was on her way to her home country to contribute in the relief work.
Mumbai: Actor Manisha Koirala has left for Nepal to visit the flood-hit region of Terai.
The 47-year-old actor, who is a Nepal national, took to Twitter to share that she was on her way to her home country to contribute in the relief work.
"First, it was earthquake and now it's floods... My heart sank with devastating news... I'm travelling to Terai with (the) UNFPA team... Hoping, praying to be of some use in this crisis..." Koirala wrote.

In 2015, Nepal was struck by a magnitude 7.9 earthquake, with its epicentre located at about 80 km north-west of Kathmandu, claiming over 7,000 lives and injuring 14,123 others.
As of August 18, widespread flooding and landslides in Nepal have killed 120 people and nearly 35 people are missing.
Over six million people have been affected by the incessant rains across the country.
