Zero sequel already on the anvil?

If our sources are to be believed, a sequel to the eagerly waited Zero is already in the pipeline. Though this is not official yet and won’t be for a while now, sources in the know say the reach of Aanand L Rai’s hero, the vertically challenged Babua will determine his longevity as a screen hero in the movies to come.

“It could be one sequel, or several spin-offs. Both Shah Rukh and Rai have fallen in love with Babua’s character. He represents that incompleteness which makes all of us identify with him. And yet in spite of his ‘short’comings he is optimistic and ebullient. It’s a character that needs to be taken forward. He is the hero of our times,” says a source close to the development.

We don’t know which way this character will go. It can even be a comic strip or a web series. But Babua in Zero is here to stay.
