Don't create controversy when there is none, says Sonam Kapoor
Sonam further added that it was just imagination of a few people at work.
Rumours of a rift between Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone have been swirling ever since they entered the industry. Recently, there have been reports that Sonam apparently deleted Deepika’s PadMan challenge video from her Instagram timeline. At an event recently, Sonam decided to clear the air. “The video wasn’t deleted. There was some issue on Instagram. There was a glitch in my Instagram infact my Instagram followers have increased in the last two days. If you check my profile, you will see,” she defended.
The incident came to light when angry fans started informing Deepika about Sonam’s action by tagging her on her PadMan Challenge post, which she took it up on February 3. In the post, Deepika was seen holding a sanitary napkin in her hands to extend her support for the film.
Sonam further added that it was just imagination of a few people at work. She explains, “You are asking very controversial questions — please don’t create a controversy when there is none. Only women are doing this these days. I can’t imagine that a woman is asking me this question. I expect a women to support other woman and not try to create situation.”
