Aamir Khan's blockbuster 'Dangal' is still playing in theatres in Hong Kong.

Aamir Khan and his Secret Superstar team have been revelling in the success of the film starring Zaira Wasim, where the actor played an extended cameo. The film, which did decent business in India, has amassed a lot of wealth on the other side of the Great Wall. In fact, the numbers are still pouring in.

And that was reason enough why Aamir and the team of Secret Superstar decided to call it a celebration. Aamir says, “We are happy that the film has done well. The credit for all this should go to Advait Chandan, who has wonderfully written and directed the film.” Advait, on the other hand, passes the buck to Aamir. “I would like to borrow a line from Dangal which goes like this: Iska saara credit main apne tauji ko dena chahta hoon,” he chuckles.

The box office figures from China have elated Aamir the most. Like his earlier films Dangal and PK, the collection for Secret Superstar now stands at a record breaking Rs 800 crores in the fifth week and is still going strong. “The emotional tone of China is very much like ours. Hence, our stories and our emotions touch them. I am sure that when we watch their films, we will also like them,” adds Aamir.

Meanwhile, Aamir was also spotted with a wavy hairband holding his hair back and we couldn’t help but ask him if that was the look in his forthcoming film Thugs of Hindostan.  “This is not my look in the film. I have much longer hair in the film. Yes, I have got the earrings but the audience will see my real look only when the poster of the film is released,” says Aamir.

The Dangal actor adds that even as he will be out of action for a while, he will be back soon to wrap the film’s shoot. “Well, when I return, we will have a schedule of the film in Rajasthan, which will be the climax of the film. We will wrap it by end of March,” says the actor.

Secret Superstar has bagged a lot of awards as well. Ask award-recluse Aamir about them and he comes back with a repartee. “I do not know much about awards. Have we won any?” he asks Advait, who replies. “Awards lete lete main thak gaya hoon!” Well that calls for another celebration.
