Why is Sanjay Dutt missing from promotions?

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is Sanjay Dutt’s first release, not only after the revival of his career following his biopic Sanju, that brought him and his career back into the limelight. This film, in fact, is his first movie after his release from the jail.

But strangely, the actor has gotten busy with the shooting of his next film Prasthanam, which is being shot in Lucknow, and hence the actor has been missing out on the promotions of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3. Feeling the weight of his absence are co-stars, Mahi Gill and Chitrangada Singh.

The producers are a bit stressed but have somehow managed to convince Dutt to spare some time for a few interviews.

“Actors have contracts that say they have to allot dates for promotions, but who can force Sanju to commit time? It does seem that the producers have asked him to spare some time during his shoot, as he himself is the producer of Prasthanam and can plan his schedule. But he will not be going all out for the promotion of the film,” says a source.

Produced by Rahul Mittra and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is all set to release on July 27. But we wonder if Dutt has already seen the film and is hesitant?
