Ashutosh Gowariker to cast Sara Ali Khan in his next film?
Gowariker is working on historical-based film on the three battles fought between the 16th and 18th centuries.
Mumbai: Sara Ali Khan who is busy working on her debut film 'Kedarnath', seems to have bagged her second big film. Reportedly, even before her debut film release, acclaimed director Ashutosh Gowariker has roped in the young actress for his next project.
According to a report in DNA, Ashutosh is interested in casting Sara opposite Arjun Kapoor in his next film. Reportedly, The 'Mohenjo Daro' director is working on yet another historical-based film on the three battles fought between the 16th and 18th centuries.
A source said, “Before the young actress paid Ashu a visit, the latter had dropped by on his good friend Abhishek Kapoor. He saw some rushes of the love story, Kedarnath, which features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara. The Jodhaa Akbar director came away mighty impressed with her screen presence and performance. So, he wants to cast her in his own movie.”
The same report further stated that Sara has been roped in to play female lead opposite Arjun Kapoor. However, the official statement from the makers is yet to come out.
Sara Ali Khan is currently busy shooting for 'Kedarnath' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. 'Kedarnath' is the romantic love story of two youngsters, set in the backdrop of the 2013 Kedarnath tragedy. The Abhishek Kapoor directed film is set to release on December 21, 2018.
