Video: Aishwarya-Abhishek's awkward airport moment fuels fight' report, AB Jr reacts
The actor slammed a news portal report on the couple's fight' post an awkward' moment at the airport.
Mumbai: Be it the new pairs or the much-married couples in Bollywood, the rift angle has been tagged to all of them at least once.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have also had their fair share of ‘fights’, most famously reported after the latter ‘refused’ to pose with her at the premiere of ‘Sarbjit’ in 2016.
While Abhishek’s gesture in that case could’ve been assumed as the film belonging to the actress and she should rightly have her moment on the red carpet, the couple’s recent arrival at the Mumbai airport was another ‘awkward’ occurrence for the couple.
So Abhishek and Aishwarya, along with Aaradhya, met in London after the former watched the football world cup in Russia with father Amitabh and the mother-duo attended a brand event and holidayed in Paris.
The trio even posed for a loved-up picture which went viral on social media. All good till then. Cut to their arrival at the airport on Monday morning, where Abhishek a bit ‘aggressively’ and unsuccessfully tries to hold Aaradhya’s hand, after which the couple share a slightly ‘heated’ stare at each other.
Abhishek is then seen a bit flustered and walks quite ahead of the duo, but then seems to be seeking Aaradhya’s attention, who smiles at her dad and then hugs Ash even tighter.
It could be a normal incident in a family and nothing much like a ‘fight’, but the awkward moment fuelled a news portal report about a ‘fight’ between the couple.
Abhishek reacted to it in the most dignified manner, by replying with ‘due respect’ asking them to ‘refrain’ from posting ‘false stories.’ He said he understood the need for continuous updates on websites, but requested them to do it ‘responsibly’ and without ‘mischievous intent.’
With due respect. Please refrain from making up false stories. I understand the need to continously post, but would really appreciate it if you could do so responsibly and without mischievous intent. Thank you.

This is not the first time AB Jr has been a target of attack online. Previously, he was termed ‘useless’, mocked for staying with his parents, going on a holiday during non-vacation days of school, all of which he replied with ‘respect’ tinged with sarcasm.
