Acting workshops for student of the year

Sidharth Malhotra has been the flavour of the season for many big filmmakers. But his mentor, Karan Johar, wants the actor to spruce up his act if he wants to remain in the A-list league.

“Sidharth has often been criticised for his acting skills. His looks, his fitness, and his physique have never been a cause for concern. But then when Sidharth has to reprise the role of a war hero in his next film — ‘Sher Shah’ and play the role of a national role model Vikram Batra, producer Karan Johar made it clear that he needs to do a few acting workshops, script reading among others before he starts acting in the film. Sidharth also understands that this is for his own good and has started work on his acting,” says a source.

One can say that Sidharth’s classmate from Student Of The Year, Varun Dhawan, has already passed the acting exam with flying colours, but Sidharth still needs to score better marks.
