Director Vikramaditya Motwane is not scared to repeat an actor even though their last misadventure might have been a resounding flop.

Mirzya, which proved to be a box office dud for actor Harshvardhan Kapoor, didn’t stop the director from roping in Kapoor in his next Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.

Vikramaditya said: “That flop did not help anybody, but that is life. You try to make the best film possible. And, I don’t think Mirzya was a bad film.”

The director is ready to take the risk again with Kapoor. “I was convinced that Harsh was the right guy for Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. You cannot foresee hits or flops. You do a film because you want to do it with a certain actor,” he added.

When asked if the audiences were ready for another superhero film, Vikramaditya said: “They are ready now. Be it Spider-Man or Thor, the numbers are increasing day by day. People are getting used to the superhero culture in this country and that should help us.”

We wish Vikramaditya and his young actor all the best, but it seems they will need oodles of luck because their release is clashing with another big-ticket film that stars Harshvardhan Kapoor’s sister Sonam.
