No cameos for Salman Khan

Even as Salman Khan made that call and asked Shah Rukh Khan to do a cameo in his recent movie Tubelight, the actor himself doesn’t wish to do special appearances in any other movie for anyone else.

The fact that SRK’s cameo doesn’t seem to have helped the film’s flickering start at the box office like the eponymous title of Tubelight only adds to it.

Salman feels like his name is being misused by many of his friends and producers, who take favours from him. By getting him to do cameos, they then end up promoting their movies as one that stars Salman Khan.

And the actor isn’t really as upset about his name being used or misused, as much as he’s about his fans who are tricked into believing it’s a Salman movie. “They all come to the theatres thinking the film has Bhai in one of the lead roles. The posters and trailers of the movies have bhai all over it, and hence they think it’s a Salman film, which is not true. Hence, Salman has now decided to not do any such films at all, except perhaps return favours to friends,” says a source close to Salman.
