David Dhawan has stalled the shoot of his film Coolie No. 1 in Bangkok in order to attend an important meeting of the Indian Film and Television Producers’ Council. Actor and producer Rajat Rawail joined him in his travels.

“The two decided that they had to come for the elections of the body, which had been fixed much earlier. They flew in all the way from Bangkok to Mumbai just to come and elect the same governing body that was in power last year, back into their seats again. Sajid Nadiadwala is back as the president of the body. Sajid and David go back a long way and he and Rajat returned to ensure Sajid was on the governing seat again. Then they flew back to Bangkok to resume the shoot,” says a source.

However, shooting did not suffer as the assistants were briefed on what they needed to do in the interim when David was not around.
