Alia Bhatt’s mother, actress Soni Razdan, turned a year older yesterday. And on the occasion of her birthday, Alia took to Instagram to post a throwback picture of her along with a heartfelt note.

The actress wrote, “Happy Birthday my stunning stunning mommy (heart emoji) thank you for being a classic example of beauty INSIDE OUT! No amount of words can express how fortunate I am to have a mother/friend/partner-in-trying-different-diets like you!! Even if I say it a million times a day it won't be enough... But. I love you (sic).”

Alia and Soni were recently seen sharing screen space in Meghna Gulzar’s film Raazi, which turned out to be a huge hit.
