I was looking forward to working with Diana: Sonakshi Sinha

Diana Penty, who played the female lead in the 2016 film Happy Bhaag Jayegi, has passed the baton on to Sonakshi Sinha. While she does make an appearance in the film’s sequel, Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi, it’s predominantly Sonakshi’s film.

You may think that it would lead to a clash between the two actresses, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

“We had a great time working together. In fact, I was looking forward to working with Diana, because when I saw the first film, I really loved it. It’s a film that just makes you happy, and I hope the sequel makes you feel the same way. We had a wonderful time shooting it,” Sonakshi says.

Echoing her sentiments, Diana says, “I couldn’t be happier that Sonakshi is the one playing Happy, because she is just really nice and chilled out. She fits the part perfectly.”
