Baazaar trailer launched at BSE

The trailer of the film Baazaar was finally released at the Bombay Stock Exchange this Monday. The film is based on the stock market, and it stars Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Chitrangadha Singh and newcomer Rohan Mehra.

Talking about the work that’s gone into the project, Saif says, “We have worked really hard to understand business and economics, and we have made a film that is relevant to Indian audiences. A lot of factual research has gone into it.”

One scene in the trailer has Saif telling Rohan, “You run on emotion, and I run on math. This will be fun.” Ask the actor which of the two he thinks is more important in real life, and he says, “Balance is key, but math is the way to go.”

The actor also shares his opinion on the perpetrators of financial fraud in the country, saying, “In Bollywood, we have a very honest line of work —we make films and we try to sell them. But people try to catch movie stars and make an example of them. Instead, you should catch the guys who are committing fraud and lambast them, not us! We are small people. The big game is happening elsewhere.”
