Salman Khan's race against time
Knowing that age isn't on his side, the superstar wants to wrap up as many as three movies a year now.
Off late, Salman Khan has increased his speed of working in movies. In fact, the actor may well have three films again, within a one-year period, starting Eid 2018.
Salman’s movie Tubelight released this Eid. It will now be followed by Tiger Zinda Hai in December. And while Salman has booked Eid 2018 for Race 3 and Eid 2019 for Atul Agnihotri’s production Mr Bharat, he will release Dabangg 3 next year, around Christmas again.
Says a trade source, “Salman has become very serious about his career, and he knows he needs to do more films as long as people like him and his work. Hence, he has two releases a year now, and he may increase that to three very soon too. He’s now 52, and he understands that age isn’t really on his side, when it comes to doing action films. He wants to wrap up all the high-octane movies soon, and increase the number of films he does every year.”
