Unwell Irrfan Khan to resume work in March

Irrfan Khan, who had been going great guns with work, has had to slow down a bit after being diagnosed with a severe case of jaundice. The actor has currently been advised bed rest, but he has already given dates for an upcoming web series, Hindi Medium 2 and Vishal Bhardwaj’s next. Irrfan now plans to resume work by mid-March.

“Irrfan has been advised complete bed rest for a month,” a source says. “The makers of his projects, who are concerned about his health, have decided to postpone their projects till he completely recovers and is good to get back to his sets. He’s not going to get back to work before March and will start working only by the middle of the month.”

The 51-year-old, who was set to leave for Chandigarh to shoot for a series for Amazon Prime, will now stay back at home in Mumbai to receive treatment.

Meanwhile, Vishal’s next, which also stars Deepika Padukone, has now been postponed and will go on floors only after Irrfan gives fresh dates.
