Bhumi Pednekar walks out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie
The actress was to star as a contract killer in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production, Sejal Supari.
Bhumi Pednekar seems to having a rather tough time with her signings. The actress, who made her debut with Dum Lagake Haisha, took a rather long time to sign her second movie. She was on board to shoot Manmarziyan with Ayushmann Khurrana, but the movie was shelved. She eventually signed up for Shubh Mangal Savdhan and Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
Another promising movie she was supposed to take up was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production, Sejal Supari. However, as things stand, Bhumi isn’t doing the movie where she had to play a contract killer. A close source says, “Earlier, Bhumi had to undergo a complete makeover in Sejal Supari, but she walked out of the film for unknown reasons. The film was considered to be her entry into the dark and edgy genre of cinema, but things didn’t work out between her and the makers.”
There had been no comment from Bhumi’s spokespersons while going to press.
